Our Minnesota Permit to Carry course is the first step towards legally carrying a concealed handgun in 35 states across the country. Our comprehensive introductory level course is designed for individuals seeking to gain a strong foundation in handgun operation, shooting techniques, and firearms safety, while emphasizing the immense responsibility that comes with carrying a concealed weapon.
Basic Handgun Skills Class
Our Basic Handgun Skills class is designed for individuals with little or no experience in pistol shooting. It serves as an introduction to the fundamentals of pistol shooting, covering the essential knowledge, skills, and attitudes for safely and accurately shooting a handgun at a basic level.
USCCA Defensive Pistol Program
The USCCA’s Defensive Pistol Program is a comprehensive 5-week course designed to help participants develop key defensive shooting skills through a mix of live-fire and dry-fire practice. Participants will learn and master the skills needed for effective pistol use in defensive situations. As an option, you can add our online MN Permit to Carry class (new or renewal) at no charge. The online course will fulfill the classroom portion, while the DPP course will meet the shooting qualification requirements for the Permit to Carry.
